As a CLOCS-A Auditor You Need to Know your Trucks

To become a CLOCS-A auditor it is necessary to have a knowledge of heavy trucks. This is required as there many auditors whose specialisations do not have any focus on heavy vehicles. Auditors that do not have experience with heavy truck operations or truck technology are required to undertake the Heavy Vehicle Industry’s TRUCKS 101 program available here: Heavy Vehicles 101 – HVIA Training.

Approved National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme (NHVAS) and the Australian Trucking Association’s Trucksafe auditors are not required to undertake a truck familiarisation program. ISO, HACCP, MCAS auditors as examples, will be required to undertake to HVIA’s program.
