CLOCS-A welcomes inclusion in Queensland Road Safety Action 22-24

As the CLOCS-A program continues to be developed it welcomes its inclusion into the latest Queensland Road Safety Action Plan 2022-2024 which outlines 20 initiatives that will be implemented over the next 3 years. The action plan will assist in reaching their road safety targets and contains an extensive program of safety treatments across the network and key actions to address priority areas of concern.

The actions are aligned with the priority areas:

  • Roads and roadsides
  • Places and spaces
  • Individuals
  • Communities

The CLOCS-A Standard’s purpose is to provide industry with a nationally consistent approach with regards to the safe and efficient logistics relating to major infrastructure projects. CLOCS-A is in discussions with Queensland Traffic and Main Roads (TMR) on how to support them in delivering the action to enable safer interactions between heavy vehicles and vulnerable road users.
