E-bikes are not regarded as a new Vulnerable Road User class for a CLOCS-A perspective.
They are considered as a subset of bicycles.

The CLOCS-A team continues to monitor these personal technologies. Their introduction has brought their own specific safety hazards and their involved crash incidents continue to increase.
