CLOCS-A Presented at Cement Concrete & Aggregates Australia (CCAA) Victorian Health and Safety Seminar on August 31 2023

The CLOCS-A team of Karyn Welsh and Jerome Carslake outlined the history, development, future implementation, and implication of the CLOCS-A standard on drivers, trucks and auditors.

The CLOCS-A standard is a crucial framework for ensuring the safety of road users and pedestrians in urban areas. Developed in response to the increasing number of accidents involving construction vehicles, the standard sets out a series of guidelines for drivers, trucks and auditors to follow to reduce the risk of collisions.

One of the key features of the CLOCS-A standard is its focus on collaboration between different stakeholders. By bringing together developers, contractors, drivers, and local authorities, the standard encourages a holistic approach to safety that takes into account the needs of all parties involved.
