CLOCS-A has been shortlisted as a finalist for the Inside Construction Foundation Safety Program Award

We are proud to announce that CLOCS-A has been shortlisted as a finalist for the Inside Construction Foundation Safety Program Award.

The Inside Construction Foundation Awards proudly shine a light on the Australian major construction and civil infrastructure industries, showcasing the innovative people and projects that seek to promote core standards around safety and environmental sustainability throughout major and local projects.

Taking place as part of the Inside Construction Expo on Wednesday 20 September, the Awards will recognise both individuals and businesses who excel in the industry and bring together different industry segments to one room on one night for a glamorous night of celebration.

The Safety Program Award category recognises a program, project or initiative aimed at promoting and improving safety, either within a business or across the broader construction industry.

Construction Logistics and Community Safety – Australia (CLOCS-A) is a national good practice approach for managing the risks and impacts associated with a construction project’s on-road transport and logistics activities to community road safety. It was developed to provide a consistent framework for industry to achieve and has been inspired by the success of the Construction Logistics and Community Safety (CLOCS) program established in the United Kingdom in reducing road trauma associated with construction logistics. The primary goal of CLOCS-A is that a similar reduction in lives lost and serious injuries can be achieved locally on our roads in Australia.
