Who are Know the Road?
Know The Road provides consulting, auditing and training services to small and medium businesses who interact with or are part of the logistics supply chain.
Our tagline is “Clarify, Simplify and Comply” meaning we try to make compliance as easy and simple as possible for you.
Our experienced team has connections with some of Australia’s largest civil contractors, right through to small family-owned operators who contract with those larger companies. The lengthy tenure of our team in the road freight sector spans a variety of operational, government and administrative roles, including compliance and safety in one of Australia’s largest privately owned companies, vehicle operation roles all over Australia, policy and government roles at a state and federal level, developing and streamlining processes for all transport company sizes, and simplifying technical documents into easily digestible formats.
What are the Commitments and Actions Know the Road will develop and share through CLOCS-A?
As a Supporting Partner (SP) of CLOCS-A, we commit to stepping into the consultative process with both feet, providing unbiased and considered feedback and suggestions on the content, attending CLOCS-A forums (in person wherever possible), reaching out to road freight companies to educate and assist the implementation of CLOCS-A in their business, and acting as champions for this worthwhile project; all of which we have already commenced.
