CLOCS-A Ride Along Program

This month the CLOCS-A team will be piloting a new initiative to give road users a chance to experience travelling through a city environment in a construction truck.

In partnership with Holcim, drivers from various construction sites around Melbourne will be giving participants a chance to understand the many complex issues that they deal with on a daily basis as they navigate through the city in a large vehicle.

The Ride Along Program aims to help bridge the gap between truck drivers and other road users, creating a shared understanding of what trucks face on the road and hopefully making drivers more aware of how to interact with a truck on the road and the things they need to consider.

The pilot program is being undertaken by members of the CLOCS-A community and will then be opened up to others in the general public who are interested in participating.
