The CLOCS-A Standard Requirements Cover a Lot of Safety Impacting Elements

In developing the CLOCS-A Standard significant attention has been given to vehicle technology, VRU driver training, risk and logistics planning, as just some of the areas of focus. Mandated CLOCS-A operational requirements are generally not mirrored in the HVNL/CoR, NHVAS or PBS frameworks, except for required compliance behaviour and the reporting of non-conformances.

Notes: These CLOCS-A requirements are a non-exhaustive subset from the full CLOCS-A standard. A: Selected elements only   1. Bronze level, 2. Siver level, 3-Gold level

In brief, CLOCS-A has made a significant strides to add an additional level of community operational safety for heavy vehicles in the construction industry. Could other commodity sectors, serviced by the Heavy Vehicle industry, also adopt a CLOCS-A framework for their operations?
